Curriculum Suggestions

Students should visit the CS academic advisor to construct an academic plan based on his/her individual needs. English and Math placement, as well as part-time or half-time enrollment can affect the time it takes to complete degree requirements.

A maximum of 60 sem. hr. with a grade of C or better (that is, half of the work required for a bachelor's degree) may be transferred from a junior college. Care should be taken to plan one's junior college curriculum so the maximum allowed credits will transfer to UAB. Students should also consult with their junior college advisor about which junior college courses may transfer.
