Typical activities of SIGLINUX include Linux Installfests, where SIG members will help users install Linux on their personal machines; organization of the UAB ACM Linux Workshop events; and operation of a uablinux mailing list which is available to the entire UAB community for the purposes of discussing Linux and answering user questions.
